Ashley Armes LVT, RVT, Owner
Born and raised here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Ashley Armes acquired her associate’s degree in applied sciences at Delaware Technical Community College in Georgetown, Delaware. Concurrently, Ashley gained acceptance to the prestigious Veterinary Technology Program where she graduated magna cum laude in 2019.
Throughout Ashley’s academic journey her devoted work ethic and good-natured disposition resulted in numerous accolades and recognitions. Some of which include, being elected as the Veterinary Technology Program President by her peers, as well being recognized by the college as a “student spotlight” for her achievements both in and out of the classroom.
Since passing her Board Exam and becoming credentialed in 2019, Ashley has maintained full-time employment in small animal general practice where she discovered her enthusiasm for laser light therapy and witnessed the astounding results the laser provides first-hand or “paw” rather- in her patients. This propelled Ashley to pursue and fulfill extensive professional development surrounding the modality, accompanied with hours of in-clinic application of a Class IV Laser.
Addressing the primary objective when laser therapy is warranted and prescribed …mobility, Ashley wants to not just provide a safe non-surgical option to alleviate pets in pain but also execute an overall experience conducive to healing and recovery. With this being said Ashley established HealGlow in 2024, a prescription only laser light therapy service offering pet parents this proven approach to pain management in the hassle-free convenience of your home.
HealGlow’s objectives include educating clients on photobiomodulation therapy and its life changing benefits for acute and chronic conditions while helping to guide pet owners in both dietary and environmental adaptation that when paired with light therapy results in the best overall outcome for your pet.
